Why add a domain

A verified sending domain lets Email Bump send as your brand and gives mailbox providers the authentication signals they expect. It also removes the shared-domain testing limit.

Once a domain is verified, the shared testing domain stops being accepted for that project — sending from it is refused with a message naming your own domain. It exists so you can try things before setting up DNS, and its reputation is pooled across every workspace, so mail from it delivers worse than mail from you.

Add a domain

  1. 01
    Open Domains

In the dashboard, go to Settings → Domains and choose Add domain.

  2. 02
    Enter the root domain

Use a domain such as acme.com. You can send from addresses on that domain after verification.

  3. 03
    Copy the DNS records

Add every record exactly as shown at your DNS provider, then return to Email Bump and check verification.

Add DNS records

Email Bump provides DKIM and mail-from records for the domain. DNS updates may be visible within minutes, but some providers can take up to 48 hours to publish changes.

Do not remove existing mail records

Add the records Email Bump provides without replacing records used by your current inbox or other sending services.

Branded tracking

Branded tracking uses links.yourdomain.com for tracked links. This step is optional; until it is active, sends use the shared tracking domain.
