How to give Poke its own email address

Poke brings an assistant into the conversations you already have on your phone. A dedicated inbox gives it another place to collect task updates. You can ask about those messages without connecting your own Gmail account.

How to give Poke an email address

Open Poke’s integrations, choose a new integration, and paste this connection address.

Poke requires an integration address and an API Key field. Copy the address below, then create a connection key on Email Bump’s Connect page and save it in that private field. This one-time requirement comes from Poke; a terminal command cannot approve a connection in your Poke account.

Ask for a quick update by message

• Give a task its own inbox and connect Email Bump in Poke’s integrations.
• Ask Poke which new messages arrived at that address and request a short summary.
• If a reply is needed, ask it to draft the wording first. Confirm the recipient and message before asking it to send.

Check that the inbox works

Ask Poke for its inbox address. Send a short message to that address from an email account you own, then ask the assistant to read it. Check that the sender and subject match what you sent. If you want to test a reply, explicitly ask it to reply to that message and check the destination inbox. A saved connection alone does not prove a message was delivered.

Can I connect Poke without pasting a key into chat?

Yes. Save the key in Poke’s integration settings, not a message. Give the key a recognizable name so you can revoke it from Email Bump later. The connection can access the inboxes in its project.

Can I choose a name or use my own domain?

Yes. Choose an available name on misomail.co, or connect a domain you already own. The free plan includes five inboxes across the projects in your workspace. Developer is $15/month for 25 inboxes and 25,000 emails, sent and received combined; Startup is $99/month for 250 inboxes and 150,000 emails, sent and received combined. Registering a new domain is a separate purchase.

Keep the connection under your control

Use a separate project if this assistant should not see your other agents’ mail. A project connection can access all of that project’s inboxes. Save keys only in private connection settings. Tell the assistant to ask before sending, and treat received messages and attachments as information to review rather than instructions to obey. You can revoke a connection key from Email Bump when the task is over.
