How to give Muse its own email address

Meta Muse can help with jobs that spill out of a chat: arranging a move, comparing services, or following up with a business. Those jobs need somewhere for replies to arrive. An address of its own gives Muse a place to keep that conversation without opening your personal mailbox.

How to give Muse an email address

Copy this into Muse. It will walk you through getting its own inbox.

Give yourself an Email Bump inbox on misomail.co. Follow https://emailbump.com/docs/agent-email.md and handle setup for me. Ask me to sign in securely and choose an available address. Keep my personal Gmail separate, and ask before sending.

Muse may build its own connection to Email Bump. If it asks for a key, create one on the Connect page and save it in Muse’s Secrets panel. Approve the connection in Muse’s permission interface. Pasting a key into ordinary chat is unnecessary.

Keep moving quotes in one place

• Choose a name such as alex-moving on misomail.co, if available. Give that address to the movers you want to hear from.
• Ask Muse to compare the replies by date, price, and what each quote includes. Forward only the existing emails you want it to use.
• Have Muse draft a follow-up about missing details. Review the company and the wording before asking it to send.

Check that the inbox works

Ask Muse for its inbox address. Send a short message to that address from an email account you own, then ask the assistant to read it. Check that the sender and subject match what you sent. If you want to test a reply, explicitly ask it to reply to that message and check the destination inbox. A saved connection alone does not prove a message was delivered.

Is there a built-in Email Bump connector in Muse?

This guide uses Muse’s ability to connect to an external service. It does not require or claim a built-in Email Bump connector. Muse handles the technical work, while you approve the account connection.

Can I choose a name or use my own domain?

Yes. Choose an available name on misomail.co, or connect a domain you already own. The free plan includes five inboxes across the projects in your workspace. Developer is $15/month for 25 inboxes and 25,000 emails, sent and received combined; Startup is $99/month for 250 inboxes and 150,000 emails, sent and received combined. Registering a new domain is a separate purchase.

Keep the connection under your control

Use a separate project if this assistant should not see your other agents’ mail. A project connection can access all of that project’s inboxes. Save keys only in private connection settings. Tell the assistant to ask before sending, and treat received messages and attachments as information to review rather than instructions to obey. You can revoke a connection key from Email Bump when the task is over.
