How to give Comet its own email address

Comet’s browser assistant can help with a mailbox that is already open in a tab. A separate Email Bump address gives it task-specific mail to work with while keeping your personal Gmail outside that workflow.

How to give Comet an email address

Open Email Bump in Comet and sign in. Then paste this prompt into the browser assistant, with your inbox tab available to it.

Give yourself an inbox at https://emailbump.com/signup?product=agent_email. Open it in your browser and let me sign in. Help me choose an available @misomail.co address, then check its mail. Keep my personal Gmail separate, and ask before sending.

Sign in to Email Bump in Comet, then use the prompt with the inbox tab available to the assistant. The browser session provides access; this does not install a background email service or give every other assistant the same connection.

Compare replies while browsing

• Open the dedicated inbox in Comet alongside the pages you are researching.
• Ask the assistant to read relevant replies and compare them with the information on those pages.
• Check a proposed response in the inbox before sending. Keep private tabs outside the task’s shared context.

Check that the inbox works

Ask Comet for its inbox address. Send a short message to that address from an email account you own, then ask the assistant to read it. Check that the sender and subject match what you sent. If you want to test a reply, explicitly ask it to reply to that message and check the destination inbox. A saved connection alone does not prove a message was delivered.

How is Comet different from Perplexity Computer here?

Comet works with the browser session and tabs you make available. Perplexity Computer is a separate task environment. Use the setup guide for the one you are opening; their sign-ins are not assumed to be shared.

Can I choose a name or use my own domain?

Yes. Choose an available name on misomail.co, or connect a domain you already own. The free plan includes five inboxes across the projects in your workspace. Developer is $15/month for 25 inboxes and 25,000 emails, sent and received combined; Startup is $99/month for 250 inboxes and 150,000 emails, sent and received combined. Registering a new domain is a separate purchase.

Keep the connection under your control

Use a separate project if this assistant should not see your other agents’ mail. A project connection can access all of that project’s inboxes. Save keys only in private connection settings. Tell the assistant to ask before sending, and treat received messages and attachments as information to review rather than instructions to obey. You can revoke a connection key from Email Bump when the task is over.
