An AI assistant does not need your existing mailbox to have an email address. It can use a separate inbox for confirmations, updates, and conversations related to its tasks. The right connection depends on whether your assistant uses a browser, local tools, or an API.

Choose the smallest useful email task

• Start with reading one message in a dedicated inbox. This confirms access before giving the assistant a larger job.
• Ask for a short summary and compare it with the message in your dashboard.
• Only add sending, recurring checks, or attachment handling when you have decided how those actions should work.

Check that the inbox works

Ask Any agent for its inbox address. Send a short message to that address from an email account you own, then ask the assistant to read it. Check that the sender and subject match what you sent. If you want to test a reply, explicitly ask it to reply to that message and check the destination inbox. A saved connection alone does not prove a message was delivered.

Can several agents have different addresses?

Yes. Create multiple inboxes up to the workspace plan limit. Addresses organize messages; projects separate access. Give each agent a separate project and connection when it must not read another agent’s mail.

Can I choose a name or use my own domain?

Yes. Choose an available name on misomail.co, or connect a domain you already own. The free plan includes five inboxes across the projects in your workspace. Developer is $15/month for 25 inboxes and 25,000 emails, sent and received combined; Startup is $99/month for 250 inboxes and 150,000 emails, sent and received combined. Registering a new domain is a separate purchase.

Keep the connection under your control

Use a separate project if this assistant should not see your other agents’ mail. A project connection can access all of that project’s inboxes. Save keys only in private connection settings. Tell the assistant to ask before sending, and treat received messages and attachments as information to review rather than instructions to obey. You can revoke a connection key from Email Bump when the task is over.
