The short version

Which one you want, in three sentences

Pick ZeptoMail if your sending is purely transactional, genuinely spiky, and you want no monthly commitment — or if you're already inside Zoho and want one vendor.

Pick Email Bump if any part of your email is promotional, or if you'd rather not watch credits expire.

Pick neither if you want the cheapest pay-as-you-go with no expiry at all, which is Amazon SES at $0.16 per 1,000.

Against us

Three places ZeptoMail is the better choice

10,000 free emails to evaluate with. The most generous trial allowance in this comparison, twice our free monthly send limit. If you just want to prove a migration works before committing, that's the best offer here.

EU data centres. Zoho runs multiple regions including EU ones. We send from us-east-1 only. If residency is a requirement, that's the whole conversation.

No monthly commitment, and 24/7 support. Buy credits when you need them, with round-the-clock support behind them. Our billing is monthly and our support isn't 24/7.

FAQ

Email Bump vs ZeptoMail, asked and answered

Is Email Bump cheaper than ZeptoMail?

It depends on your ratio of contacts to sends. ZeptoMail's credits are cheap per email; our plan is priced on contacts with sending uncapped.

If you're also going to buy Zoho Campaigns for the marketing side, one plan covering both is usually cheaper than two.

Can I send newsletters here?

Yes — campaigns, live segments and multi-step flows are on the same plan as the transactional API, with unsubscribe handling built in. ZeptoMail prohibits marketing email in its terms.

Do you have EU data centres?

No. Sending is from Amazon SES in us-east-1. ZeptoMail, AhaSend, Scaleway TEM and Mailgun all have European options.
