Head to head

Email Bump vs UniOne

UniOne is one of the cheapest hosted ways to send email anywhere. We're not competing on that and won't pretend to.

Eight rows below, including the two where UniOne wins outright.

The short version

Which one you want, in three sentences

Pick UniOne if cost per email is the metric and you're comfortable managing your own deliverability, or if a four-month free trial is the way you want to evaluate.

Pick Email Bump if the mail matters — receipts, resets, anything a customer waits for — and you'd rather the provider own reputation management, with campaigns on the same plan.

Pick neither if you have volume and engineering time, which is Amazon SES, or if deliverability history is the deciding factor, which is Postmark.

Against us

Two places UniOne is the better choice

Raw price. $6/mo for 50,000 emails is roughly $0.12 per 1,000 from a hosted product. We don't sell email by volume at all, and if cost per email is your metric they win outright.

A four-month free trial. Four months at 6,000 emails a month is the longest evaluation window in this comparison, and long enough to migrate properly rather than in a hurry. Ours is a permanent free plan, which is a different kind of generous but a smaller monthly allowance.

FAQ

Email Bump vs UniOne, asked and answered

Is Email Bump cheaper than UniOne?

For pure volume, no — nothing hosted really beats $6 for 50,000 emails.

For a product with a contact list, the comparison changes: $19/mo here covers 10,000 contacts with uncapped sending plus campaigns, flows and segments, which UniOne doesn't provide at any tier.

How do you handle deliverability differently?

We send through Amazon SES, which polices its own senders hard, and monitor reputation, bounces and complaints on top. Accounts behaving badly get stopped rather than left to affect everyone else's placement.

That's a real cost we carry, and part of why we're more expensive per email.

Do you offer email validation?

No. UniOne, Mailgun, MailerSend and Maileroo all sell validation. We handle bounces and suppression but there's no list-cleaning product.
