Head to head

Email Bump vs Scaleway TEM

Scaleway TEM is European sovereign infrastructure that forbids marketing email. We're US-hosted and marketing is half the product. Almost nothing about these two overlaps except the send call.

The short version

Which one you want, in three sentences

Pick Scaleway TEM if European data sovereignty is the requirement and your sending is purely transactional. Nothing here matches it on price plus sovereignty together.

Pick Email Bump if any part of your email is promotional, or if you need to receive mail as well as send it — and US hosting is acceptable.

Pick neither if you want EU hosting that also allows marketing, which is AhaSend or Mailjet.

Against us

Two places Scaleway TEM is the better choice

European sovereignty at a price nothing else matches. €0.25 per 1,000 on multi-region European infrastructure from a French company. If your requirement is sovereignty and your sending is transactional, this is the strongest combination on the page and we're not in the running.

A published SLA and a managed dedicated IP. 99.9% on the Scale plan at €80/mo, with the IP managed for you. We publish no SLA and treat dedicated IPs as a volume-gated add-on.

FAQ

Email Bump vs Scaleway TEM, asked and answered

Do you have an EU region?

No. Sending is from Amazon SES in us-east-1. Scaleway TEM, AhaSend, MailPace, Lettermint, Sweego, EmailLabs and Mailjet all host in Europe.

Can I send marketing email here?

Yes — campaigns, live segments and multi-step flows are on the same plan as the transactional API, with unsubscribe handling built in. Scaleway TEM prohibits marketing in its policy.

Do you support inbound email?

Yes, on every plan including free — receive, parse, download attachments and forward. Scaleway TEM doesn't support reception at all.
