Email Bump vs Omnisend
Omnisend is built for ecommerce stores and adds SMS and web push. We're built for products that send lifecycle and transactional email, and we do neither of those channels.
Eight rows below, and the honest headline: if you run a store, Omnisend is probably the better fit.
Which one you want, in three sentences
Pick Omnisend if you run an online store. The order data, the ecommerce automation library, the SMS and the web push are all things we don't have, and they're the whole point of the product.
Pick Email Bump if your triggers are product events rather than orders, or if you also send transactional email and would rather have it on the same plan and key.
Pick neither if you need deeper ecommerce reporting, which is Klaviyo, or the cheapest general-purpose tool, which is MailerLite.
8 differences that matter
Omnisend's column comes from their published pricing and documentation on 2 August 2026.
Three places Omnisend is the better choice
It knows about orders. Abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, back-in-stock — all built on real store data. Ours would be approximations built on generic events, and worse ones.
SMS and web push. Both included, against the same contact and the same segment. We send email and receive email. For a store running a multi-channel programme that's a real gap.
It's in the EU. A Lithuanian company handling EU data as standard, against our us-east-1. If residency matters, that's the whole conversation.
Email Bump vs Omnisend, asked and answered
Is Email Bump cheaper than Omnisend?
At larger contact counts, yes — $29/mo covers 25,000 contacts here with uncapped sending, against Omnisend Pro's $41.30/mo at 2,500. At very small sizes Omnisend's $11.20 Standard tier is cheaper.
But if you need the ecommerce model, price isn't the deciding factor.
Can Email Bump do abandoned cart emails?
It can send them from an event you track, but it can't reason about the products in the cart or attribute the revenue back. For merchandising cart contents into the email, Omnisend or Klaviyo is the right tool.
Do you have SMS or web push?
No. Email and inbound email only. If either channel is part of your programme, we replace one part of Omnisend and you'd need something else for the rest.
