Head to head

Email Bump vs MailPace

MailPace is EU-hosted transactional email with every feature on every plan. We're US-hosted email that also does campaigns, segments and flows. The first row decides it for a lot of readers.

The short version

Which one you want, in three sentences

Pick MailPace if your data has to sit in Europe. We send from us-east-1 with no EU option, so this is not a close call for anyone with a residency requirement.

Pick Email Bump if you also send campaigns and would rather not run a second platform, and US hosting is acceptable.

Pick neither if you want the cheapest EU rate, which is Scaleway TEM, or the strongest deliverability record, which is Postmark.

Against us

Three places MailPace is the better choice

It's in the EU and we're not. Hosted in the European Union, stated plainly. We send from us-east-1 with no European option at all. If that's your requirement, nothing else on this page matters.

Multi-currency billing. USD, GBP, EUR, JPY and more. We bill in dollars. For a European or Asian finance team, that removes a conversion and a variance line.

It's smaller and simpler. One product, one feature set, no tiers to compare. If all you want is a relay, we're selling you contacts, segments and campaigns you may never open.

FAQ

Email Bump vs MailPace, asked and answered

Do you have an EU region?

No. Sending is from Amazon SES in us-east-1. MailPace, AhaSend, Scaleway TEM, Lettermint, Sweego and Mailjet all host in Europe.

If residency is a hard requirement, we're not the answer and we'd rather say so on the first row than the last.

Is Email Bump cheaper than MailPace?

Hard to state precisely, since MailPace prices through a slider. For pure transactional relay at low volume they're likely cheaper; for anything that also sends campaigns we're cheaper, because that would be a second subscription there.

Do you keep 30 days of logs like MailPace?

Retention isn't tiered by plan here — the free plan sees the same history as the top one. MailPace's flat 30 days on every plan is the same idea stated as a number.
