Email Bump vs EngageBay
EngageBay charges per user and gives you a CRM and a helpdesk with the marketing. We charge per contact and give you email, inbound email and a transactional API.
Eight rows below, including the three where EngageBay wins — starting with the fact that it has a CRM and we don't.
Which one you want, in three sentences
Pick EngageBay if you want a CRM and a helpdesk in the same subscription as the marketing, and your team is small enough that per-user pricing works in your favour.
Pick Email Bump if the team is growing faster than the list, or if you also send product email and want it on the same plan and key.
Pick neither if you need the deepest automation, which is ActiveCampaign, or a genuinely free CRM, which is HubSpot.

EngageBay's column comes from their published pricing and documentation on 2 August 2026.
Three places EngageBay is the better choice
It has a CRM and a helpdesk. Deals, pipelines and support tickets alongside the marketing. We have contacts, events and segments. If you're consolidating three tools into one, they can and we can't.
A free tier for fifteen people. Almost nothing else lets fifteen team members into a free plan. Ours has unlimited seats but a 5,000-contact ceiling; theirs is 250 contacts with fifteen logins. Different generosity, and theirs suits a small agency better.
Landing pages, forms and pop-ups. Included from the free tier up. We have none of them, so a full replacement means adding another tool.
Email Bump vs EngageBay, asked and answered
Is Email Bump cheaper than EngageBay?
It depends entirely on team size. For two people, EngageBay Basic is $25.48/mo total and covers 500 contacts. For ten people on Growth it's around $552/mo. Ours is $19/mo at 10,000 contacts regardless of headcount.
The crossover comes early — usually around three or four users.
Does Email Bump have a CRM?
No, and no helpdesk either. Contacts, custom fields, behavioural events, live segments and flows.
If EngageBay is running your sales pipeline or your support tickets, we replace one of its three modules.
How many users do I get?
Unlimited, on every plan including free. That's the structural difference — per-user pricing means your bill grows when you hire, and per-contact pricing means it grows when your audience does.
