Email Bump vs Constant Contact
Constant Contact sells email plus events plus a phone number. We sell email, inbound email and a transactional API, priced on contacts with no send cap.
Eight rows below, including the three where Constant Contact is the better choice — phone support genuinely matters to some buyers and we don't offer it.
Which one you want, in three sentences
Pick Constant Contact if you run events, or if being able to call someone is worth more to you than the feature list. For a local business without a marketer, both of those are real.
Pick Email Bump if the send multiplier or the automation tier is why you're looking, or if the list sits alongside a product that also needs receipts and password resets.
Pick neither if you want the cheapest capable tool, which is MailerLite or EmailOctopus, or the deepest automation, which is ActiveCampaign.

Three places Constant Contact is the better choice
You can phone them. For a small business without anyone whose job is marketing, being able to call a person and be talked through it is worth more than any feature comparison. We have documentation and email support.
Event management. Registration, ticketing and event emails in the same tool. Almost nothing else in this category has it, and we certainly don't.
Decades of deliverability. A long, boring, well-run sending history. We're newer, and for a business whose reputation depends on invoices and reminders arriving, that history is worth paying for.
Email Bump vs Constant Contact, asked and answered
Is Email Bump cheaper than Constant Contact?
At most list sizes yes, and the gap grows because their price scales with contacts while ours steps in bands — $19 at 10,000, $29 at 25,000, $49 at 50,000.
At the very bottom, Lite from $9/mo undercuts our entry tier, though our free plan covers 5,000 contacts.
Can I import my Constant Contact list?
Yes — a CSV export of contacts and custom fields imports cleanly. Take the export with subscription status attached so unsubscribes arrive as unsubscribes.
Do you offer phone support?
No. Support is by email, with documentation, a CLI and an MCP server for people who'd rather not open a ticket at all.
If phone support is why you're with Constant Contact, that's a good reason to stay.
