Email Bump vs CleverReach
CleverReach is German, EU-hosted and gives unlimited sending on paid plans. We're US-hosted with uncapped sending and a transactional API on the same plan.
Eight rows below, including the two where CleverReach wins outright — starting with where the data sits.
Which one you want, in three sentences
Pick CleverReach if your data has to be on German or EU servers. We send from us-east-1 with no European option, so for a GDPR-driven requirement this is the whole conversation.
Pick Email Bump if the automation is the limit, or if the list sits alongside a product that also needs receipts and password resets, and US hosting is acceptable.
Pick neither if you want the largest EU free plan, which is Sender, or the deepest automation, which is ActiveCampaign.

Two places CleverReach is the better choice
German servers and GDPR-first positioning. EU server locations stated plainly, from a German company, against our us-east-1. For a European business with a residency requirement, nothing else on this page matters.
Unlimited sending from $15/mo. Basic covers up to 5,000 recipients with no send cap at all, which is cheaper than our entry tier for that size. Ours is uncapped too, and theirs starts lower.
Email Bump vs CleverReach, asked and answered
Is Email Bump cheaper than CleverReach?
At small recipient counts, no — Basic at $15/mo for up to 5,000 recipients undercuts our $19/mo, and our free plan covers 5,000 contacts.
It becomes cheaper when transactional email is also in scope, since that's not part of CleverReach's marketing plans.
Do you have EU servers?
No. Sending is from Amazon SES in us-east-1. CleverReach, Brevo, MailerLite, Sender, Moosend, GetResponse, Keila and Omnisend are all EU-based options on the alternatives page.
Can I import my CleverReach recipients?
Yes — a CSV export of recipients and fields imports cleanly. Take the export with subscription status attached so unsubscribes arrive as unsubscribes.
