Email Bump vs Brevo
Brevo charges for emails sent and treats contacts as nearly free. We charge for contacts and don't cap sending. Which of us is cheaper is a division problem, not an opinion — sends per contact per month.
Eleven rows below, including the four where Brevo wins outright. It's EU-based and we aren't, which for some readers ends the comparison on the first row.
Which one you want, in three sentences
Pick Brevo if you hold a large list you email occasionally, if you need EU data handling, or if you want SMS, WhatsApp and a CRM in the same subscription. All three are real advantages and none of them are close.
Pick Email Bump if you email a smaller list frequently — lifecycle flows, a weekly newsletter, transactional email — and the send meter has become the thing you plan around.
Pick neither if you need the deepest automation logic available, which is ActiveCampaign, or if you run an ecommerce store, which is Klaviyo.

Brevo's column comes from their published pricing and documentation on 2 August 2026.
Four places Brevo is the better choice
It's European and we're not. Brevo is a French company handling EU data as standard. We send from Amazon SES in us-east-1 with no EU region. If GDPR data residency is a requirement rather than a preference, this row ends the comparison and no feature of ours changes that.
Big lists are nearly free to hold. If you have 80,000 contacts you email once a quarter, Brevo charges you for the quarterly send and we'd charge you for 80,000 contacts every month. That's a large difference in your favour and it's the reason Brevo tops most of these listicles.
SMS, WhatsApp and a CRM. Included in the platform, not bolted on. We do email and inbound email. A genuinely multi-channel programme replacing Brevo with us plus three other tools is not obviously a saving.
A free tier that never ends. 300 a day forever, with real contact storage behind it, is the most generous permanent free plan in this comparison for a low-volume sender. Ours is bigger monthly but capped at 5,000 emails; theirs keeps going.
Email Bump vs Brevo, asked and answered
Is Email Bump cheaper than Brevo?
Only if your sends-per-contact ratio is high. Divide your monthly sends by your contact count. Above roughly three or four, contact-priced pricing tends to win; below one, Brevo wins comfortably.
A 5,000-contact SaaS list running a newsletter plus lifecycle flows is $19/mo here with no send ceiling. A 60,000-contact list emailed monthly is much cheaper on Brevo.
Does Email Bump have SMS or WhatsApp?
No. Email and inbound email only. If your programme genuinely uses Brevo's SMS or WhatsApp channels, we replace part of your stack rather than all of it, and you should price the replacement for the rest before switching.
Do you have an EU region?
No. Sending is from Amazon SES in us-east-1. If you chose Brevo for EU data handling, that's a good reason to stay, and MailerLite, GetResponse and Omnisend are the other EU-based options on the alternatives page.
Is there a daily sending limit?
No. Brevo's free plan caps you at 300 emails a day and it doesn't roll over. Here the free plan is 5,000 emails a month with no daily ceiling, and paid plans have no send cap at all under fair use.
That difference matters most on launch days and imports, which is exactly when a daily cap is most annoying.
