At most sizes yes — $19/mo covers 10,000 contacts against beehiiv Scale's $43/mo at 1,000 subscribers. But beehiiv's free tier includes unlimited sending, so a free newsletter under 2,500 subscribers costs nothing there.
If you're monetising, the ad network and paid subscriptions may be worth more than the price difference.
Can I run a paid newsletter on Email Bump?
Not natively — there's no subscription billing, paywall or reader checkout. You'd handle payments elsewhere and sync the paying subscribers in as a segment.
If paid subscriptions are the point, beehiiv or Substack is the right tool.
