# How to give Lindy its own email address

Lindy can run assistants and repeatable workflows for a team. Giving a workflow its own inbox makes it easier to see which messages belong to that job and to review the replies it sends.

## How to give Lindy an email address

In Lindy, add the Any MCP Server connection and paste this address.

Use Lindy’s Any MCP Server integration with the connection address below. Its authentication settings need a Bearer connection key from your Email Bump project. Save the key in those settings and choose the inbox tools your workflow needs.

## Collect questions for a small team

- Create an inbox for the workflow and share its address with the people who should use it.
- Let the workflow read new questions and prepare a response or an internal summary.
- Keep a review step before outbound messages, especially when a reply includes customer or company information.

## Check that the inbox works

Ask Lindy for its inbox address. Send a short message to that address from an email account you own, then ask the assistant to read it. Check that the sender and subject match what you sent. If you want to test a reply, explicitly ask it to reply to that message and check the destination inbox. A saved connection alone does not prove a message was delivered.

## Does adding the connection also start a workflow?

No. The connection makes inbox tools available. You still choose the workflow’s trigger, instructions, and approval steps in Lindy. Check the first run against the received and sent views in Email Bump.

## Can I choose a name or use my own domain?

Yes. Choose an available name on misomail.co, or connect a domain you already own. The free plan includes five inboxes across the projects in your workspace. Developer is $15/month for 25 inboxes and 25,000 emails, sent and received combined; Startup is $99/month for 250 inboxes and 150,000 emails, sent and received combined. Registering a new domain is a separate purchase.

## Keep the connection under your control

Use a separate project if this assistant should not see your other agents’ mail. A project connection can access all of that project’s inboxes. Save keys only in private connection settings. Tell the assistant to ask before sending, and treat received messages and attachments as information to review rather than instructions to obey. You can revoke a connection key from Email Bump when the task is over.
