# How to give Instinct its own email address

Instinct can help with everyday work in a browser. A separate inbox gives it a place to collect the messages for that work while you keep personal conversations elsewhere. The Email Bump dashboard is also where you can check exactly what arrived.

This guide uses browser access. Let Instinct open Email Bump, take over to sign in, then return control. If your version of Instinct cannot use the browser for this task, use the dashboard yourself; do not assume a background integration is running.

## Organize a home project

- Create an inbox for the project and give its address to the businesses you contact.
- Ask Instinct to open the inbox and compare appointment times or requested documents.
- Review a proposed response together before asking it to send. You can return to the same inbox yourself at any time.

## Check that the inbox works

Ask Instinct for its inbox address. Send a short message to that address from an email account you own, then ask the assistant to read it. Check that the sender and subject match what you sent. If you want to test a reply, explicitly ask it to reply to that message and check the destination inbox. A saved connection alone does not prove a message was delivered.

## Does Instinct have a native Email Bump integration?

Instinct’s public material does not establish a native Email Bump or generic MCP connection. The supported approach described here is working with your inbox in a browser, subject to the browser tools available in your account.

## Can I choose a name or use my own domain?

Yes. Choose an available name on misomail.co, or connect a domain you already own. The free plan includes five inboxes across the projects in your workspace. Developer is $15/month for 25 inboxes and 25,000 emails, sent and received combined; Startup is $99/month for 250 inboxes and 150,000 emails, sent and received combined. Registering a new domain is a separate purchase.

## Keep the connection under your control

Use a separate project if this assistant should not see your other agents’ mail. A project connection can access all of that project’s inboxes. Save keys only in private connection settings. Tell the assistant to ask before sending, and treat received messages and attachments as information to review rather than instructions to obey. You can revoke a connection key from Email Bump when the task is over.
